What should I expect during my Zoom™ teeth whitening procedure?
In order to qualify for Zoom™ teeth whitening, it is necessary to schedule a teeth cleaning appointment with our dentists. After ensuring that your teeth are free from plaque and tartar, our dentists will take measures to safeguard your lips and gums. The Zoom™ whitening gel will then be carefully applied to your teeth during a precise 15-minute session, using a special light to activate the gel. This procedure can be repeated up to four times, potentially improving the whiteness of your teeth by 6 to 10 shades.
Introducing the groundbreaking Zoom!™ Teeth Whitening Procedure
For optimal results, it is recommended to schedule a professional cleaning prior to undergoing the Zoom™ process. This process is highly efficient and typically takes less than an hour.
To ensure your comfort and prevent any irritation, we take precautions to safeguard your lips and gums during the bleaching procedure. We then apply the Zoom!™ hydrogen peroxide whitening gel to your teeth, which remains on them for approximately 15 minutes. The Zoom!™ light is utilized to activate a reaction that eliminates stains and discoloration. The gel's oxygen effectively penetrates the enamel and dentin, bleaching the stains without altering the structure of your teeth.
The Zoom™ light is used to apply the gel three times, with each application lasting 15 minutes. This results in a total treatment time of approximately 45 minutes. Following the treatment, we apply a fluoride solution to minimize tooth sensitivity.
